Not going to lie, I’m pretty excited for this. Minus the fact that he looks more like Harry and she looks nothing like Kate. BUT it is exactly what i would expect from the typical Lifetime movie. Looks pretty legit for having been thrown together in like 4 months. Get your tissues and bottle of wine ready for April 18th, it’s going to be epic… or will it be epic-ly bad?
AH! The royal wedding watch continues AND yesterday they released the official ENGAGEMENT photos. They are truly adorbs and not as stuffy and formal as i would have thought (i’m sure the royal family was pushing that- but this is why we love Will and Kate)!
So for all of you, like me, who might have blown their savings on that GORGEOUS dress that Kate Middleton is rocking in the pictures from the engagement, you’re outta luck! Within a day of their engagement announcement/press conference, the dress was sold out. However, you can check out some of the other similar styles the designer ISSA London has to offer here. I’ll be anxiously waiting to see who designs her wedding dress and what it will look like! Rumor is it might be fellow Brit, Victoria Beckham, however as much as this would make me SO happy, i think VB’s style is a bit too contemporary for what her majesty will likely approve of.
Kate is sure to become a fashion icon, much like Diana she has a classic sense of style. She has some great hats too, have i mentioned i love when brits wear hats? they are so fabulous, why don’t we wear hats to events? My friend and i joked we might have a wedding watching party with a hat theme, i’m not sure if i think this is a joke anymore, i’m all on board.
Sigh, my teenage dream wishes of marrying prince william and becoming royalty are officially over. But… thank god he finally decided to put a ring on it after 8 years of dating this girl, i mean, i think it was time. He’s cute, she’s gorg and they make a nice couple so congrats to them! I guess i’ll just have to go back to watching the E special on the most eligible royalty in the world and start making a new list.
Update, i no longer harbor ANY resentment (i only had a little to begin with), he gave her his mother’s engagement ring. Soooo precious and they are adorable! Look out posh and becks, i may have a new favorite british couple…
