My celebrity girl crush/one of my favorite singers Hayley Williams of Paramore is gracing the cover of Cosmo this month and i’m SO excited about it. So is she, she recently tweeted “What ME?! On the cover of Cosmo? noooo… YESSSSSS! It’s true! I’ll be on the May issue. Gap teeth and all.”

Personally, I think she looks fabulous and click the image below for more pictures from the shoot which are even better! Can’t wait to read the article, which may finally give us some answers about the recent departure of two of the band members, and maybe more about the bands new music, including  “In the Mourning” which she posted the chorus of in January, listen here.

It is no secret to those that know me that I am a big Paramore fan and an even bigger Hayley Williams fan. As two singers, Al and I know a good one when we hear one and this girl sounds live, just as phenomenal as you would expect. Plus, she is a short and fierce and as two short fierce people- we can relate. 😉 Al and I were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be third row for a concert this summer and had a blast. We were  also introduced to another fantastic duo- Teagan and Sara. CHECK THEM OUT PEOPLE! They are phenom.

Anyways, I recently heard that a tribute CD to Loretta Lynn was coming out so naturally, I looked to see who would be on it. To my pleasant surprise, Paramore will be doing a version of  “you ain’t woman enough (to take my man)” which totally blew me away when I heard them do it this summer. At the time, i was sort of like wtf? because a country song and Paramore are just not two things that I  would put together, BUT once again I was impressed with what I heard. Trust me when I say that those who pick up the new Loretta Lynn tribute album will not be disappointed. The different types of artists on Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn pay tribute to the diverse and vastly ranging fan base that this icon has accumulated over her career. It’s not just the country artists and fans who respect and admire her music, it goes across genres and age groups. xoxo L
